Welcome to the Village of Waterloo. Waterloo is located 20 miles from downtown Omaha and approximately 1/2 mile southeast of the intersections of US Highway 275 and State Highway 64 in the southwest edge of Douglas County.
Construction on the Waterloo Levee is complete. All necessary documentation has been submitted to the United States Corps of Enginners and we are waiting for their approval before submission to FEMA.
The next project for the Village of Waterloo is the Elkhorn River Bank Stabilization. This project is necessary to protect the Levee that was just completed.
