Planning Commission

Overview

The Planning Commission is made up of volunteers in the community that the Village Board has appointed to serve. The Commission meets at least once a quarter and is responsible for making plans for the physical development of the Village, including it's extraterritorial jurisdiction.

The Planning Commission also serves as an advisory board to the Village Board on items such as, but not limited to, the comprehensive development plan, capital improvements, building codes, subdivision development, the annexation of territory and zoning.

The Planning Commission Meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm at the Village Town Hall located at 509 S Front St. The Planning Commission is required to meet once a quarter, please contact the Village Office to verify if there will be a meeting.
